Strong growth tablet use in the Netherlands

Dutch are increasingly using a tablet. Earlier this month the counter stood at 1.7 million users, nearly six times as much as one year ago.

According to the latest figures from research company GfK. Last December, the Netherlands had over 300,000 tablet users. In six months time, that number grew to 725,000, more than twice as much. Meanwhile the count had risen to over 1.7 million tablet users. Average of 2.3 persons using a tablet. This number is probably so low because of the limited use of the very young, very elderly and non-tablet owners. GfK calculates that 1.7 million Dutch next year, consider purchasing a tablet. This sounds a little on the low side.

According to TNS NIPO considering eight out of ten Dutch next year to buy a tablet. Quite a big difference in understanding.
