IBM will be on display for the Apple iPhone (mobile Internet), iPod Touch and Mac development of enterprise social networking applications.
These applications include real-time information, secure encrypted e-mail and collaboration features with Apple, IBM will be referred to as “business-grade collaboration” products. Currently, IBM has provided free office suite for Mac with Lotus Symphony 3.0, the company said will help support the Apple Mac users “With blog, Wikipedia, activity, micro-blog and social information and other social networking products, establish business networks.”
IBM said the company was the first to provide secure encrypted e-mail and collaboration applications to help users simplify the Mac and iPhone platforms Lotus Notes and Domino Software applications business.
