United States International Trade Commission decided to initiate an investigation regarding violations of Samsung Electronics, Sharp Corp. flat-panel TV-related components, the patent allegations.
United States International Trade Commission issued a public notice on its Web site, said the investigation involved components used in products TV LCD module.
Prior to Sharp on January 8 filed a complaint against Samsung Electronics Co., asked the U.S. International Trade Commission against which the export and sale of such products issued injunction.
Samsung Electronics and Sharp Corporation executives said they currently had no comment.
